Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026

1. Data We Collect

When you use Superday, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your name (optional)
  • Your university and/or finance club affiliation
  • Voice recordings captured during interview sessions
  • Transcripts generated from those recordings
  • AI-generated evaluation scores and feedback
  • Usage events (sessions started, questions answered, pages viewed, device and browser information)

2. How We Use It

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide the core service: scoring, feedback, and progress tracking across sessions
  • Improve our evaluation models and question bank (see Section 9)
  • Run internal product analytics and error tracking via PostHog and Sentry so we can fix bugs and improve the product

3. Legal Basis

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account and accept our Terms of Service, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.

4. Retention

We retain your voice recordings, transcripts, scorecards, and usage events indefinitely to provide progress tracking, improve our evaluation models, and develop the product. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@super-day.ai — we will delete within 30 days of a verified request.

5. Security

All recordings and transcripts are encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to systems and personnel required to operate the service.

6. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate Superday. Each processes data as described in their own privacy policies:

7. Data Portability

You can export a machine-readable copy of your profile, sessions, transcripts, and scores at any time via /api/profile/export.

8. Right to Erasure

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data — including recordings, transcripts, evaluations, and usage events — at any time by emailing privacy@super-day.ai. We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

9. Training License

As described in Section 9 of our Terms of Service, you grant Superday a license to use your voice recordings, transcripts, and evaluation responses in de-identified or aggregated form to train and improve our interview-scoring models. In practice, this means we strip direct identifiers (your name, email, and account ID) before using the data for model work, and model-training datasets are composed of either individual examples with identifiers removed or statistical summaries across many users. We do not sell your data or share identified recordings with third parties for training.

10. Successor Entity

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, user data may be transferred to the successor entity subject to the terms of this policy.

11. Breach Notification

We will notify affected users within 72 hours of confirming a data breach that affects their data.
